The self-styled Yoruba nation agitator, Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, has reportedly regained his freedom. This was made known in a statement by the ‘Yoruba Nation Global Directorate’, signed by its Director, Princess Adeola Atayero Olamijulo. According to reports, Igboho regained his freedom on Tuesday afternoon following his release by the government of the Benin Republic. ‘Petrol price could increase to N1,000 per litre if subsidy is removed’ – DPR

The Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) has stated that the pump price of petrol in Nigeria may rise to N1,000 per litre when the petrol subsidy regime ends without an alternative energy source. Kaduna: Bandits demand N60m ransom for 120 abducted Baptist students

Abductors of 121 students of Bethel Baptist High School, Kaduna have demanded a cumulative ransom of N60 million to free the remaining 120 abductees. The bandits said the ransom must be paid before the end of yesterday, Monday.
