2023: “ICC is not competing with PCC” – TSG National Coordinator

The two Presidential Campaign Councils of the All Progressives Congress (APC) are not competing with each other, but working towards the success of its presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the general elections.

National Coordinator of the Tinubu/Shettima Grassroots Independent Campaign Council, (ICC), Ali Silas Agara, stated this when he supervised the inauguration of Deputy Directors and Assistant Directors of the Media Directorate, under the Director, Media, of the Council, Ntufam Hilliard Eta, yesterday, in Abuja.

According to him, “The ICC and the Presidential Campaign Council, (PCC) are working towards the realization of Tinubu and his running mate Senator Kashim Shettima Mustapha.

“Our sole aim is to sensitise the electorate at the grassroots to vote for the candidate of the party that emerged through the internal democratic process of the party. In other words, ICC is a traditional town crier that is working at the grassroots by complementing the works of the PCC”.

In his remarks at the event, Director of Media Directorate, Ntufam Hilliard Eta, said, “ICC is strictly going for the grassroots voters; we go to the rural areas, creating innovation and goodwill from Nigerians. “Tinubu had already carved himself a space in the good books of history; it is left to us to continue disclosing his good legacies to the grassroots people to come out en masse and vote for him to continue developing Nigeria”, he added.

Similarly, Agara also supervised the inauguration of the Humanitarian Directorate under its Director, Hajiya Amina Indala. The Director called on its members to strive by campaigning for Tinubu/Shettima and APC candidates for the progress of democracy in Nigeria at large.

In her remarks, a grassroots politician and the first woman to have been elected member Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Hon. Mary Onwogulu, said that the real voters are at the grassroots and they are sensitising them for Tinubu/Shettima and the APC at the general elections.
