Kaduna State governor, Nasir Ahmad el-Rufa’i has revealed that he planned to bomb the Federal College of Forestry Mechanisation students in Afaka, even if some of the abducted students are killed.
He made the remarks in an online interview on social media on Africa’s development hosted by a church.
According to the governor, “Kaduna State is confronted by a war and therefore, even if some of the students are killed, it will be a sacrifice that had to be made”.
The governor further disclosed that two days after the abduction, the Nigerian Air Force informed him that they had located the students and surrounded them, adding that they planned to attack the gunmen even though they knew some of the students would be killed.
He said they were just about to commence the process when the gunmen fled.
