APC Governors Hail Uzodinma At 63

The Progressive Governors Forum (PGF) – the umbrella body of Nigerian Governors elected on the platform of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) – has commended one of its own, Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo tate for his ‘insightful and resolute inputs to the processes of managing governance at both state and national levels’.

The Forum gave the commendation in a statement issued by its Chairman, Gov. Abubakar Bagudu, of Kebbi state, on Sunday in Abuja while felicitating with Uzodinma on his 63rd birthday.

The statement reads: “The PGF join Gov. Hope Uzodinma of Imo to celebrate his 63rd birthday, along with the people of Imo, and other well-meaning Nigerians, we celebrate this special occasion with you and your family.

“We wish to acknowledge and commend your leadership, vision and commitment to a united, prosperous Nigeria, under the leadership of our party, APC.

“We also acknowledge your contributions to our team of Progressive Governors through your insightful and resolute inputs to the processes of managing governance in Imo as well as at the national level.

“As Governor of Imo, through all the development initiatives being implemented by your APC-led government, you represent the shining light of our politics.

“We rejoiced with Uzodinma and reaffirmed the commitment of the PGF to implement programmes that would strengthen the capacities of progressive states to create jobs, stimulate economic activity, reduce inequality and diminish poverty in the country”.
