The Progressive Governors Forum (PGF), the umbrella body of Nigerian governors elected under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Tuesday eulogised the contributions of Senator Oluremi Tinubu to democratic development of Nigeria.
A statement in Abuja by its Chairman and Kebbi State Governor, Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, the forum described Senator Oluremi who marked her 60th birthday as a rallying point for the progressives in the country.
“We celebrate with her, our leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and her entire family on this special occasion.
“We acknowledge her contributions to our democratic struggles through her insightful inputs to the processes of party formation and party building as well as within the Senate Chamber. She certainly represents a unifying and rallying point for all.
“Congratulations and happy 60th birthday to Senator Oluremi Tinubu, the wife of Jagaban of the Borgu Kingdom. We rejoice with you and wish you a happy birthday,” the statement reads.
Senator Oluremi Tinubu is the wife to the APC National Leader, Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu.
Also, the forum celebrated former Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha, on his 58th birthday in a terse statement made available to newsmen Tuesday in Abuja.
“We in particular wish to acknowledge and commend your leadership, vision and commitment to a united prosperous Nigeria. Under the leadership of our party, APC, we acknowledge your contributions to our team of Progressive Governors as a founding member of the Forum and Chairman between November 2013 – May 2019.
“We also recognise your insightful and resolute inputs to the processes of managing legislation at the Senate Chamber,” PGF said.
