Bandits on Sunday morning made fresh attempts to abduct residents of the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) quarters, in Kaduna.
This is coming a week after 12 residents of the FAAN quarters were abducted. The bandits returned to the quarters on Sunday, but met stiff resistance from a combined team of the Nigerian Air Force and Nigerian Army.
A security source said the bandits launched the fresh attack through a different route. He said the gunmen had targeted one of the houses in the premises but security agents overpowered them.
