Drama, as pickpocket breaches tight security, steal ex-VP Namadi Sambo’s phone in Abuja

A pickpocket has allegedly stolen the mobile phone of a former Nigerian vice president, Namadi Sambo, at the Nigeria Air Force (NAF) Conference Centre in Abuja.

A former federal lawmaker, Senator Shehu Sani, who made this known yesterday, said someone breached the tight security line and stole Sambo’s phone at the on-going Solomon Lar’s book launch in Abuja.

“It’s incredible that someone can breach the tight security line and steal the phone of the former VP Sambo at the on-going Late Governor Solomon Lar Book launch in Abuja”, he wrote on his verified Twitter handle.

Top dignitaries across the political spectrum, including ex-leaders and chieftains of political parties, business, and family associates are attending the event.
