ECOWAS: Jonathan, Buhari meets over proposed extraordinary summit n Ghana

Former President Goodluck Jonathan and President Muhammadu Buhari met for the first time in 2022 at the State House yesterday.

A statement issued by the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, indicated that Jonathan, was at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, to brief the incumbent President, Buhari on a proposed meeting being convened by the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) scheduled for Accra, Ghana, on Sunday.

Jonathan, who relinquished power to Buhari in 2015 following his defeat has been serving as ECOWAS Mediation Team to Mali.
