Kaduna State governor, Nasir Ahmed el-Rufa’i has reportedly been flown abroad for treatment a few days ago over poor health condition.
This is according to a disclosure by a State Government House source.
It was gathered that the governor’s deputy, Hadiza Balarabe, who is currently acting on his behalf, yesterday received the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Lt.-Gen. Faruk Yahaya, who was in the Government House Wednesday on a working visit.
Although the source did not know or disclose the nature of el-Rufa’i’s ailments, the governor has been flown abroad from the country of destination to another overseas country due to the seriousness of the disease.
When contacted, the Media Officer of the Governor, Ibrahim Musa, could not respond as at the time of filing this report.
