The management of China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation, (CCECC) has explained that the much-awaited Kano to Kaduna standard-gauge railway will be completed in 18 months.
Speaking with newsmen at the construction site, situated at Zawachiki Kumbotso local government area, the Personnel Manager of CCECC, Muhammad Kabir, said the project would be ready before the scheduled time.
According to him, workers have since been mobilised to the various sites of the project immediately after President Muhammadu Buhari inaugurated it in July.
“We have already mobilised our staff from Ibadan to Kano and Kaduna to ensure the timely completion of the project”, he said.
