Kano State governor, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has expressed confidence that the All Progressives Congress, (APC) will win all the 44 chairmanship and 484 councillor seats in the local council elections taking place in the State.
The governor stated this shortly after casting his vote at his polling unit 008 at Ganduje town, Dawakin-Tofa local government area of the State.
According to him, the ruling party will sweep all the seats considering the “massive turnout” he saw at the center. He added that the party would win the elections through the ballot, not by force or intimidation.
The governor also called on the people to vote wisely, assuring that those they voted for would serve them accordingly
