The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, (EFCC), has arrested former Zamfara State governor, AbdulAziz Yari, in connection with the agency’s ongoing investigation of the suspended Accountant-General of the Federation, (AGF), Ahmed Idris. The embattled AGF, Idris, who is under criminal investigation, has been in the EFCC custody since May 16, facing investigators over allegations of corruption to the tune of N80 billion. A Federal High Court in Abuja, yesterday, ordered the interim forfeiture of about 10 properties and funds in banks allegedly owned by a former governor of Zamfara State, AbdulAziz Yari. A Federal High Court, sitting in Abuja yesterday, ordered a final forfeiture of about N284, 306, 294.04 linked to former  Zamfara State governor, Abdul-Aziz Yari, to the Federal Government.
