IPOB/ESN: Troops neutralise combatants in Abia, Enugu

Troops of 82 Division, Nigerian Army, and the Nigerian Police have neutralised six combatants of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and its armed affiliate, Eastern Security Network (ESN) in different encounters in Abia and Enugu States. Many feared dead in Abia building collapse

A three-storey building under construction along Azikiwe Road, in the commercial city of Aba, Abia State, at the early hours of Wednesday morning collapsed after a torrential rainfall on Tuesday night, killing two persons on the spot, even as it reportedly trapped five others in the rubble.
