Vice-President, Kashim Shettima has said President Bola Tinubu had approved the construction of 1,000 houses in Sokoto, Kebbi, Katsina, Zamfara, Kaduna, Niger, and Benue States. Director of Information, Office of the Vice President, Olusola Abiola, in a statement, said Shettima made this known on Friday, at the commissioning of projects executed by the Borno State Government in the last 100 days. Qatar begins construction of 500,000 housing units for less-privileged in Kaduna

The Emirate of Qatar, an independent emirate on the west coast of the Persian Gulf, has commenced the construction of 500,000 housing units for less-privileged residents of Kaduna State. The Mega Economic City project was officially inaugurated by Qatar’s Ambassador to Nigeria, Ali Bin-Ghanem al-Hajri, on Wednesday, in Kaduna. Al-Hajri said the projects aim to improve the living conditions for underprivileged families in the State.
