A former Plateau Central Senator and deputy President of the Nigerian Senate, Senator Ibrahim Nasiru Mantu, is dead. According to reports, Mantu died in the wee hours of Tuesday. No further details about the cause of his death have been revealed by his immediate family, as of the time this story was published. The Late Mantu was born on February 16, 1947, in the present Plateau State.
