2023: Media fairness not totally achievable – Expert

Dr Saeedat Aliyu, the Acting Director, University Relations, Kwara State University (KWASU), Malete, has advised journalists to exhibit high degree of fairness in the coverage of the 2023 general elections. She however noted that media fairness was not totally achievable because of obvious reasons. Lagos-bound plane catches fire mid-air with 33 people on board

An Overland Airways aircraft caught fire mid-air on Wednesday night, with 33 passengers on board. The passengers, however, escaped death as the aircraft made an emergency landing at the Murtala Muhammad International Airport, Lagos, from Ilorin International Airport, in Kwara State. Air Peace debunks reported plane crash in Kwara

The management of Air Peace has denied online reports purporting that its Ilorin-bound B737-500 aircraft with registration number 5N-BQR from Abuja, was involved in a crash in Ilorin yesterday, calling it misleading.
