Isa Funtua buried in Abuja

The remains of late Mallam Ismaila Isa Funtua were interred at the Gudu Cemetery at Abuja on Tuesday. He died of cardiac arrest on Monday night. He was aged 78. He was laid to rest at 1.47pm. Isa Funtua was a political associate and in-law to President Muhammadu Buhari. The Salat-al- Janazah was held before his burial at the Shehu Shagari Central Mosque, Area 1, Garki, Abuja, by the Chief Imam Area 1 Mosque, Sheikh Abdulahi Bala Yau. One of President Muhammadu Buhari’s closest associates, Alhaji Ismaila Isa Funtua, is dead. He reportedly suffered a massive heart attack during a medical check-up. Buhari’s Spokesman, Bashir Ahmed confirmed the development on Twitter. He wrote, “Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi raji’un! Just heard about Mallam Ismaila Isa Funtua’s sudden death. “This life!
