Presidential visitation panel nails UNILAG VC for fraud, clears Babalakin

UNILAG denies charging N50,000 for on-line classes

The management of University of Lagos, (UNILAG), has denied charging N50,000 for online classes. This was contained in a statement titled ‘Disclaimer: UNILAG resumption is absolutely free’ released by the Head of the Media Unit of the university, Mrs Olufadeke Akinleye.This is coming days after the senate of the institution approved January 25 as the resumption date for academic activities. Prof. Ogunsola breaks 58-year record, emerges UNILAG’s acting VC

The Senate of the University of Lagos has elected Prof. Folasade Ogunsola as Acting Vice-Chancellor. She was elected by members of the Senate at an emergency meeting held on Monday. While Ogunsola polled 135 of 167 votes, her closest fellow contestant, Prof. Ben Ogbojafor, secured 35 votes. One hundred and sixty- seven members of the Senate took part in the exercise.
