New minimum wage adjustments:Varsity workers threaten another strike action

The Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU) has threatened another strike across universities. The Minister of Labour and Employment, Dr Chris Ngige, has said that it is illegal for university workers to embark on their planned strike. Members of the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities, (SSANU) and Non-Academic Staff Union of the Universities and Allied Institutions, (NASU), have been directed to embark on a nationwide strike from today, Friday.
