The All Progressive Congres APC has been declared winner of the Lere House of Representatives Federal Constituency by-election in Kaduna State.
APC beats the People’s Democratic Party PDP by polling 33, 958 votes.
Declaring the results, the retuning officer, Professor Wada Ademu of University of Jos said the PDP came second with 16, 271 votes while the YPP came distance third by polling 294 votes.
By these results, Engineer Ahmed Manir of the APC is returned the winner of the Lere House of Representatives Federal Constituency of Kaduna State.
Engineer Manir is an in-law of the current National Security Adviser to President Muhammadu Buhari, retired General Monguno.
